Animal Drawing Course Information

This is a five-session course, beginning on May 6. See below for additional class dates and details.

Learn how to draw animals using pen and ink or micron pens and discuss how to use photo references while respecting the copyright of the photographers. Each class discusses animal anatomy before diving into how to render complex textures such as fur and feathers.

Explore the fundamentals of Chinese calligraphy brushwork in this four-week course with San Francisco-based calligraphist and instructor Jojo Liu. Proper use of calligraphy tools, posture, basic strokes and the formation of characters will be covered along with lectures on basic calligraphy writing techniques and brushwork.
